MOTHERS MEETING X WARNER EXCLUSIVE PREMIER PICS

If you were one of the lucky 100 to attend the recent MM X WarnerBrosUK screening of Me Before You, then you got to experience everything that is amazing about Mothers Meetings (and test how tear-proof that waterproof mascara really is).

Firstly, super-glam central London venue, The Soho Hotel - TICK

Secondly, drinks and canapes (MINI FOOD!!! - the very, very best) - TICK

Thirdly, photo booth and props, but not just any photo booth, no no, this was a Mothers Meetings insta-friendly photo booth i.e. one that simultaneously blows cool air in your face creating that windswept super-hot look, whilst airbrushing away all sins so you look like your former pre-child, pre-worry-lines self. (Yup, those magic machines really do exist).

Fourthly, A MILLION, ok, 100 to be totally accurate, awesome like-minded Mamas to befriend.

Fifthly (is that a word?! Sleep deprivation tells me it might not be) The actual event - a screening of the film Me Before You in The Soho Hotel’s cinema (told you the place was fancy) followed by an exclusive Q&A session with the author and the film’s director!

Finally after all that fun you never go home from a MM empty-handed, on this occasion everyone was given a copy of the best-selling book.

And all that ladies comes for FREE!

There really is no party like an MM party!!

And even though I rocked up alone and cried my eyes out during the screening (because of the plot, not the fact I hadn’t brought a plus 1), by the end I felt so happy and inspired and grateful and proud to be part of what Mothers Meetings is. I was surrounded by 100 awesome women, talking to a mega successful female author and one of very few female film directors (both of whom are mamas themselves) about how they juggle life and work, how charming Sam Claflin is in real life (very, apparently) and what he smells like (good, supposedly) and how some household names suck at auditions (no names named). Pretty mega girl power vibes for a Thursday night.

Mothers Meetings are seriously the best thing to happen to mothers since… well, the kids. So if you’ve not popped your MM cherry yet, now is probably a good time.
