Saving the pennies n all that jazz
I popped out of the house today and forgot my wallet. I only realised this whilst in the supermarket. I’m not a regular at Asda but as I was in Peckham it was the only place to get dry pasta.
I literally only had 50p on me but was sure spaghetti would only be about that as it was Asda and as we all know they pride themselves on being the cheapest.
So to cut a short story shorter, the branded pasta was £1.50 and the Asda brand was 25p!!!!!!!! Shocking hey! I checked the ingredients and it was exactly the same.
Makes you realise that with a bit of time you actually can save money. Especially when buying basics.
